SOLD Super clean 1863 Sharps looks like it's un-fired, with a crisp clean bore and the 29" barrel has a flat blue finish , with strong color case hardened frame.The walnut stocks look like new, and the action is stiff from not being broken in yet. This is in the original box, and comes with the correct rear sight. These were imported by Dixie Gun works? and Navy Arms? Importer name is Armsport of Italy. Gun is dusty, and has a few metal specks from storage. A great gun for Civil War re-enactors. These chamber a .54 cal. paper cartridge percussion like the original, black powder and can be gotten from Dixie and other ammo makers.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
