Listing my Marlin 1892 32 caliber takedown rifle. It's set up to shoot Colt center fire short or long , also has firing pin to switch and shoot 32 rim fire short or long . Has a tube magazine under the 24" barrel , vintage open rear sight , blade front sight and a Lyman tang mounted peep sight which are worth pretty good on their own. Rifle has plenty of original finish and wood looks all original and not messed with. Not at the top of Marlin collectors list but a truly fine looking model 1892 that would round out anyone's collection at a reasonable price. In the era of putting fresh meat on the table and plenty of small game around these small caliber rifles were popular for bringing home the bacon.haveing more range than the common 22 caliber rifles of that time .
