Here is a very Rare Engraved Super Drilling by Heinrich Krieghoff.. this particular Drilling was manufactured at Krieghoff's Ulm factory for commercial sales on the German market. This Super Drilling model is a post-war classic German design, and was available in a varity of caliber combinations, with this example making an ideal choice for virtually any small to medium size game. The features include 25 1/2" matte rib Bohler Blitz steel barrels with a flip up mid-barrel rear sight, and a brass blade front rifle sight, manual extractor, double triggers with the front trigger being set, crossbolt safety, top tang lever, and the stock and forearm are nicely figured Circassian Walnut.
This is an excellent example with no restoration or refinish, the gun is mechanically flawless, all three barrels are in near-mint condition, and the gun has incredible balance making it a superb candidate for the collector or hunter enthusist. The barrels display 97% factory blue with mild edge wear around the muzzle, and the receiver is a correct and striking nickel grey that contrast nicely with the nitre blued screws. Very minor dried lubricant is present, but no rust, pitting or oxidation is found. The markings are not buffed and have crisp edges with matching numbers on the frame, forend and barrels. No import mark is present, and the engraving remains bold. The stock has a few tiny handling marks, with unfaded checkering, and no cracks, dings or repairs. Mechanically flawless, the gun locks up tight with all three barrels on face, and the action is superb. The bores are graded as near mint. The rifling has sharp edges, and there is no visible rust, pitting or oxidation in any bore. Additionally, the shotgun barrels are free of dents or any significant scratches.. 5900.00 I can email more specs and pictures..
