Description:
Ruger Old Army .45 Caliber black powder revolver, dated to 1981. This revolver features a hefty solid stainless steel construction with walnut grip panels, and a unique modern take on the classic percussion revolvers. The revolver is built on the tested and proven Blackhawk frame design and single action mechanism, and operates identically to a standard Blackhawk revolver, with the exception that this revolver is designed for black powder charges and a percussion cap ignition system. The revolver has an adjustable rear sight and target style front sight, and has a typical center-pin/loading lever mechanism fitted under the barrel. The revolver is in excellent working order with solid timing and lockup, as well as a brilliant bore and shiny shamber surfaces. Some signs of light use and handling marks can be seen, however the revolver appears to have been well cared for. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase. A hard to find Ruger revolver, ready for some black powder plinking! No FFL required, black powder only.
