Description:
**SOLD**Smith & Wesson Model 57 .41 Magnum revolver, dated to 1980. This revolver features the robust steel N-Frame, with a fine blued finish, and a lengthy 8-3/8" barrel, fitted with a red ramp front sight and an adjustable rear. The revolver has a recessed cylinder, with an un-pinned barrel, indicating that it is a transitional revolver, while they were gradually removing barrel pins and recessed cylinders from production. The revolver is fitted with correct S&W N-Frame grips, and they fit properly, however they are not original to the gun, and the serial number on the metal grip cap is not matching. Otherwise, they fit and look great. The pistol is in great working condition with a very smooth trigger mechanism, as well as solid timing and lockup. The bore and chamber surfaces are in great shape with brilliant surfaces. Some blueing on the sides of the barrel is worn, as well as some spots on the frame, as shown on the photos.
