This Winchester was produced around 1935-1936 in parts cleanup. The rifle's serial number is 762487. It has the standard 20 inch barrel. The bore is in near minty condition. The standard sights are original to this rifle. The barrel and magazine blue would rate a 96% overall condition with some spotting in places. The receiver blue would rate a 92% overall condition with some spotting in places. The bolt retains 95% of the original bluing with spotting on the surface. The take down feature is tight with no play. The action works smoothly and locks up tight. The stock and pump handle have almost all of the original finish intact. The stock and pump handle have no damage or cracks. This is a very fine condition Winchester Model 1906 [06] that has been well cared for. Most of these model Winchesters have seen hard service and use. This is one of the nice Winchesters to survive. Being one of the last one's to be produced also adds to the appeal to collectors.
