This is a last year of production for this model of the Ruger Mini 14 Ranch Rifle Target Model manufactured in 2015 and chambered in the .223 Remington cartridge. This model incorporated all the advances for the mini 14, first introduced in 1973. The matte stainless steel Mini 14 Ranch Rifle Target Model variation was designed to be the most accurate factory-made version of the Ruger Mini 14 and was only produced from 2007 to 2016. It was designed to be used with optics only and does not have factory iron sights or provisions for them. The optics bases are integral to the receiver for Ruger factory rings, (included). The 22" inch heavy matte stainless steel barrel has a .223 Remington chamber for better accuracy instead of a 5.56 NATO chamber like all of the other Mini 14's, and a factory-installed adjustable harmonic damper to improve accuracy by "dialing it in" to your specific ammunition. This particular Ranch Rifle Target Model features the aforementioned 22-inch heavy bull barrel with a factory-installed adjustable harmonic tuner, a Hogue black rubber-overmolded synthetic stock, a triggerguard-mounted manual safety, and a set of matching matte stainless steel Ruger factory 1 inch "High" scope rings. It is new in the box and unfired. It comes complete with two factory 5-round box magazines.
