Description:
Lee-Enfield No.5 Mk1 Jungle Carbine .303 British bolt action rifle, dated to 1945. The No.5 Mk1 Jungle Carbine is an upgraded No.4 Mk1, with some changes that made the rifle ideal for airborne troops, specifically a shorter barrel to make a handier package wth plenty of punch. This rifle has been sporterized, meaning it has been changed from it's military configuration into a setup that is more catered to a hunting use. The main changed that this rifle has undergone is a fitment of a beautiful Bishop walnut stock and forearm set, and the bayonet lug has been ground off the flash hider. The rifle is in great working order with a fully operable action and a superb bore, with some signs of finish wear and patina, as shown in the photos. This is a great candidate for a woods gun with lots of character! Please refer to the photos prior to purchase.
