Description:
Ornate antique powder flask, 8-1/4" overall, with collar screws, thumbpiece, spring, and adjustable charger that is marked "G. & J.W. HAWKSLEY".
Similar to flask #284 in The Powder Flask Book, by Ray Riling.
Condition is very good, each side of the body with a moderate dent in the center which most likely caused the very minor separation at the bottom seam. Thumbpiece, spring, and adjustable charger function properly. Overall a nice looking flask.
