Description:
W Ketland flintlock smooth bore trade gun converted to percussion (circa 1800).  42.75" smooth bore barrel marked London, and WK for William Ketland with proof marks, approximately.65 caliber barrel half octogon, half round barrel has a smooth brown patina. Full length stock is in very good condition but has had a 4" repair at the muzzle end.  Lock marked W Ketland, the maker who died in 1804. The lock functions as it should. Brass but plate and trigger guard. Replacement wood ramrod.  A nice early percussion musket. Shipping is actual cost approximately $50.
