Description:
A very nice Pre-64 Model 70 in 375 H&H Magnum caliber showing a very modest amount of honest use and having been well cared for. Rifle is in Very Good overall condition retaining 90-95 % original blue. Wood is very good as well with a few minor handling marks. Wood is exceptionally well figured for a standard grade rifle. It features better grain than you get with most Super Grades. Apparently there was a receiver sight mounted at one time which required some wood to be removed from the stock; that is now filled with wood filler. Mechanics are all fine. Bore is excellent.
