Walther Alloy Frame PPK , Cal. 32 acp, Ser. 4290XX K. Mfg 1944.
Very scarce late war commercial is very unusual considering that it was still in the factory until 1944. It has retained about 95% of the original factory blue on the the steel slide. There is only one small patch of pin pricks on the left at the muzzle and very slight sharp edge silvering. The alloy frame is about 90%. The loss is primarily from thinning of the early anodizing on this 76 year old pistol and some slight sharp edge silvering. The slide and barrel have the correct Eagle/N proof. All parts match. The safety is the early 60 degree type. The grips are perfect with out the usual warping or chipping. The slide rails, bolt face and feed ramps show very little if any use. The bore is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling not a touch of frost anywhere. It comes with one proper finger grip magazine. This scarce wartime alloy framed Walther is a great find for any serious investor/collector and is priced modestly at...Shipped....$1695.
