Listing my Ruger 44 magnum carbine, these came out in 1961 and caused a stir in the brush country , this here one is serial number 5070, early second year.has a short 18.5" barrel , sling swivels , nice leather sling, 2 power Bushnell Sportview scope along with see thru mounts. Wood and metal are way above average.no wear anywhere to speak of.Holds 4 in the under belly feed and one in chamber . I've shot this numerous times , a fine deer rifle for thick country hunting or collecting . They built them through 1985 with over 250,000 being made so she's an early one.for those out there with a little gray on your side walls must remember old Elmer Kieth who was the granddaddy of this cartridge. Remington came out with it but he promoted it .Only one rifle was produced in 1961 serial number 1, so this is an early second year rifle in fine condition , weights in at 6 lb's , has the white insert in front sight. Bill Ruger sort of designed her after the M-1 carbine, not entirely but leaning that way. You might think I'm getting greedy with my asking price but I looked around to. If you've got a fair offer , throw it at me, I'm trying to thin my herd. I'll ship it to a FFL , maybe qualifies for a C&R as she's past 50. $40.00 I'll gift wrap and insure for you.
