**RARE** 38 SPECIAL (Not 357) Sturm Ruger SECURITY SIX 6" Blue 1973 Super Clean ~ Nearly Pristine!! Ruger Security-Six Revolver in .38 Special Description: Serial #150-38xxx .38 Special, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. It has an adjustable rear sight, ribbed barrel and ramp fixed front sight (with red polish... removable) This revolver is in its original, .38 Special chambering, and retains 99% of the original blue finish with a few very minor surface scratches, and a faint turn-ring on the cylinder. It has some very minor wear on end of the barrel & a small ding on flat of the rear sight.The checkered walnut grips are in excellent shape with negligible handling marks.. The lock-up is firm and the action functions flawlessly. This is a splendid example of a RARE Ruger DA revolver chambered for .38 Special only. Most of these 38 Security sixes were police or military contracts, and in 4"barrels and were marked as such... Not so for this beautiful specimen. No import marks, state police initials, no contract markings etc. PLEASE VIEW ALL PICTURES AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.
