Description:
Duane Wiebe custom bolt action sporting rifle built on the very desirable1909 Peruvian Oberndorf Mauser action. The 22” barrel is chambered in the venerable 7mm Mauser (7 x 57) and is topped with a hooded, banded front ramp sight and rear express sights with one standing blade and two folding blades and a barrel band sling swivel in between the sights. Mounted on the receiver are Talley bases with 1” Talley rings. The metal is flawlessly fitted to the handsome walnut stock. Hinged floorplate. Timney trigger. Two panel checkered bolt knob. The buttstock, in addition to the finely figured wood has a raised shadow line cheek piece, wrap around pistol grip checkering and ebony forearm tip, inletted sling swivel and a fitted Pachmayr presentation pad making a 14” LOP. Weighs 7 lbs. 11 oz. Like all Duane Wiebe rifles this is a spectacular example in a great caliber.
