Description:
Standard configuration early Type 94, 4th year of production, with usual Japanese characters on the left side of the frame. Right side with full serial number and 14.9 Date over arsenal symbols, reflecting manufacture in September 1939. Bakelite checkered grips. Nickled matching magazine.
Condition: Phenomenal, bright, original rust blue with negligible sharp-edge wear, a condition that also applies to the grip straps. Small, strawed parts with just the slightest fading and discoloration, no suggestion of touch-up. Comparable condition grips and magazine. Mirror bore. Perfect manuel mechanics. Early type 94s are always difficult to find and the condition of this example would be virtually impossible to upgrade. An exceptional pistol by any metric. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
