SOLD A good working Antique Colt open top Derringer in .22 Short black powder only, with a 2 3/8" barrel with a clean , shiny rifled bore. Action is super tight, withna very strong mainspring. Gun indexes and locks up tight. Exterior finish is grey with patches of brown patina , and the frame of brass has an aged mustard color.The Colt factory American walnut grips are very good with some slight wear and and flattening of the high edge at the bottom, Has a brass half-moon front sight,. Overall a clean good working pocket revolver, made from 1871-77 . This later model has not ejector but the high spur hammer and came from a Connecticut estate.This has an antique status.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
