EXCELLENT CIVIL WAR MANHATTAN .36 CAL. SERIES 3 PERCUSSION NAVY REVOLVER CA. 1863-4. 5 shot with 6 ½” octagon barrel. One line “MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS CO. NEWARK, N.J.” barrel address. All original and matching serial numbers in the 21,xxx range. All original and complete with 90% plus blue on the barrel and 30-40% on the cylinder. Excellent grey-blue case hardening colors on the frame lever toggle. Cylinder with 100% crisp roll die engraved “MILITARY & NAVAL” motif scenes. Brass straps with the original silver wash. Original walnut grips with the original varnish. Very small chip at toe of the left grip flat. Perfect working order and excellent bore and chambers. Superior example.
