I'm listing my old Winchester lever action 10 gauge shotgun, model 1887, yup another Browning design. I'd read he wanted to work on a pump but the big wig's at Winchester insisted that lever actions were paying the bills thus far. Anyway it sports a 32" long barrel, serial number 42581, making Mfg year 1892 so antique status she is. old guy died a few years ago and had more than a dozen stashed under his bed. I bought six of them from the estate , this was one of them. Nice shape , excellent looking down the barrel and action is slicker than heck. Wood isn't cracked or any dings in metal , nice aged patina.i guess receivers were hardened and the rest blued or browned. I took the pictures in outside light so things show up good. I'd ship it and insure it in price of the shotgun. I looked around and seen what their asking so if you've got a good offer , throw it out there. Remember if you buy it these weren't made for modern ammunition . Any questions please call.
