Here is a very nice rifle for long range shooting. Perfect bore, exceptional wood, fine case-hardening and bluing. Brass is readily available or can be made with 1 pass through the sizing die from .45-70 brass. The .40-65 is a popular long range caliber as it doesn't beat the shooter up nearly as much as a .45-70. This rifle is heavy enough recoil shouldn't bother most shooters. My bathroom scale shows it at 11pounds, 4 ounces. This rifle is in fine condition and priced to sell. $60 shipping and insurance via priority mail to your ffl.
