Description:
The 600 Mohawks are said to have been the Kmart version of the very much sought after 600's. After production of the 600's (with vent rib) ceased in approx 1967 or 68 the Mohawks were made from 1972 to 1979. This fine example was made near the end of the run in July of 1977. It is in excellent overall condition with only light handling evidence and one small area of loss of blue top of barrel (should easily clean up with a drop of cold blue)
Rear site removed to make room no doubt for the font bell os scope once present but it does come with quality Redfield one pc base and rings.
Many of the 600's had the "floor plate/trigger guard warp some replaced with after market steel however this one is not warped at all.
We have also listed a unique 600 in 350 Rem Mag elsewere here on Gunsinternational. The two would make a great Father Son/ Father daughter / husband /wife combo. Any buyer who buys both at the listed price of each ...we will pay for the cost to ship both. At least on picture shows both guns; the laminated stock gun is the 350 Rem listed separately on this site. One picture shows both rifles; the laminated stock gun is the 350.
