Description:

22 inch barrel that is a nice toned brown with good blue showing from the band to the receiver. Crisp tight action. Excellent bore. Sights include the blade front sight and Model 1877 second type rear sight. The 1873 dated breech block shows some nice colors remaining. Lockplate has the "US Springfield 1873" marking along with the Federal Eagle. Walnut stock is in very good condition with typical handling mars and an age crack just rear of the lockplate. Correct sling bar and ring are present as well as the cleaning rod in the butt. A very nice Trapdoor!
