Description:
This is a very good plus Winchester 1873 rifle. The bore is excellent bright and shiny and the mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The edges are still sharp. Most of the finish has turned a plum color but there are traces of blue in the protected areas. The rifle is original and is serial number 276208 made in 1888. No rust or pitting and the wood is not cracked or damaged, only a few scratches and bumps. The barrel is octagon and it has a crescent butt plate. Over all with the bore and mechanical function this is above average 1873 rifle.
