Description:
This is a S&W No. 1 1/2 Second Issue Revolver. It is an antique and was manufactured between 1868-1875. It features a beautiful floral and "burst" engraving pattern. This pattern is period correct. It also has original ivory grips in excellent condition. There is some tarnish on the barrel which is an indication that it likely was silver-plated originally. The original finish is almost completely worn. The gun still functions. There are spotty areas of patina on the metal throughout. The bore has decent rifling with minor pitting throughout.
