Description: Mario Beschi --- Boxlock Ejector --- 12 Gauge, 2 3/4" Chambers --- Engraved by Manrico Torcoli. 28" O/U hand-matted, vent-rib barrels with twin white beads and five Briley interchangeable steel-shot choke tubes. 14 1/4" pull from gold-plated single non-selective inertia trigger to solid black Decelerator recoil pad. 1 3/8" - 2 1/8" drop. 1/4" cast-off. Figured European walnut stocks with Deeley-release field forend, straight English grip, and classic point-pattern checkering. Coin-finished receiver with automatic ejectors and hold-open toplever. Engraved with fine bulino scenes of two mallards on each side, surrounded by deeper-cut acanthus scroll---also covering underside. Signed Memi [Manrico Torcoli] for the bird scenes and [Pietro] Bernardelli astride the trigger for the scroll. Maker's name in gold underside receiver, serial number in gold on long-tang triggerguard, and S in gold at manual top tang safety. Weight: 7lbs, 2oz. Built 1985.
