Description:
Another fine “ESTATE” firearm offered by Dust 2 Dollars. We offer you an Early Mews Weatherby custom rifle that was made for Dr. Russell C. Smith in the late 1940’s. The .300 Weatherby Magnum was built on a Enfield action and wears a 26” barrel with a mint bore. Inside the barrel channel it reads; L Mews at Weatherby’s. The stock and metal work are precise and clean as you would expect. The condition of the rifle is excellent with very little signs of use. On the bottom of the forearm is a gold inlay with the initials of the original owner R.C.S.; Russell C. Smith. The rifle was sold to Lou Leonard of Portland Oregon. It originally had a Lyman Alaskan scope that was mounted in Buehler scope rings and bases. That was replaced with the mount and Leupold scope you see on it now. $3,500 plus $50 shipping to your FFL or C&R. A 3% convenience fee added to the total for CC payments. All firearms come with a 3-day inspection from D2D’s.
