Griffin & Howe --- Custom Springfield 1903 Short Rifle --- .30'06 21" tapered round barrel with knurled-hooded full-band ramp front sight. Straight-grained European walnut stock with horn forend tip, fine borderless fleur-de-lys checkering, capped pistol grip, double-beaded pancake cheekpiece, sling swivels, and Silvers red rubber recoil pad. US Springfield Model 1903 action with 2-panel checkered bolt knob, Lyman 48 receiver sight and original floorplate and cocking piece. Pull: 14". Weight: 7lbs, 10oz. Built 1920s. Never drilled or tapped (but for the fitted Lyman sight). Including newer direct copy of original G&H sling. With original Griffin & Howe leather rifle slip in fine condition.
