FINE CIVIL WAR ERA BACON MANUFACTURING CO. FACTORY ENGRAVED 2ND MODEL PERCUSSION .31 CAL. POCKET REVOLVER SERIAL #6. CA. 1863. 5 shot with 4” round barrel with Bacon’s Norwich, Conn. address. All original and matching serial number 6. Fine to excellent with 40-50% blue and balance a deep plum patina. Very crisp and little used. Walnut grips with much original finish. Original factory scroll engraving on the frame. Working order and fine bore and chambers. Really nice example with single digit serial number and only 3000 made.
