SCARCE MANHATTAN 6 SHOT .36 CAL. PERCUSSION 5TH SERIES NAVY REVOLVER CA. 1867-8. 4” barrel with late two line address “MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS CO. NEWARK, N.J./PATENTED MARCH 8, 1864”. 1,xxx serial range and all matching and original. Last Manhattan made and only one with 6 shot cylinder. All the rest were 5 shot. Fine condition with 50% plus blue and a 100% crisp cylinder scene. Brass straps with traces of original silver wash. Fine walnut grips with all the original finish. Fine bore and working order. Only rarely seen and out of a collection of 20 plus Manhattans this was the only 6 shot example.
