ORNATE Antique FLINTLOCK Belt Pistol Pirate Colonial European .67 Caliber
18th Century Fighting Pistol!
Here we present an antique Flintlock Pistol, made circa the 18th Century. This is the sort of pistol one would imagine a pirate carrying during the period. This one is of military or “fighting” size, and would have been worn in the belt. The brass and iron parts are all decorated so that this very practical tool would also have been seen as a status symbol.
The overall condition is very good. The action is strong and tight. The bore is in good shape. Most of the metal parts are deeply engraved. Faint ornate engravings can be seen atop the barrel. The leaf-like carvings on the handle and under the forearm have smoothed over, but significant remnants remain. Here we have an ornate flintlock pistol that can be displayed from any angle!
