Here is a Gebruder Merkel 16 gauge Model 201 made in 1934 during the second year of Nazi Rule and height of the German Depression (a lot of good workmanship could be purchased at a minimal cost during that time period). Bold Oak and Acorn engraving. This high condition gun has the following features.

Flip up rear sight and flip up front bead to change from blade sight to ivory bead - appears to be designed to use a rifle barrel insert accurately
