Smith & Wesson 38 M&P Pre Model 12 Airweight. Rare nickle and aluminum cylinder. This has the very rare locking screw on the side plate. There were only a few produced with this locking screw. All matching numbers. Grips are not original. 5 screw. 2in barrel With letter. Shipped Oct 16 1953. Beautiful finish with some slight flaking on the flat latch. This revolver should not be fired with the alloy cylinder.
