SN #JE0559, Factory Engraved Beretta Silver Pigeon II J.E.G. Special Single Barrel and Over/Under Trap Combo Shotgun Two Barrel Set with Case.
Dual bead sights on the raised vent rib barrels with 3 inch chambers, automatic ejectors, standard markings, and Optima choke tube system. Bright coin finished receiver with full coverage fine floral and scroll engraving with semi-relief game bird scenes on the sides of ducks on the right, pigeons on the left, and a grouse on the underside. With a single trigger and sliding tang safety/selector switch. Nicely figured, checkered walnut pistol grip stock with wolf engraved grip cap, adjustable comb, blank initial oval, and solid Beretta recoil pad. Single barrel is 34 inches with an adjustable vent rib, 3 inch chamber, and Optima choke tube system. With original box, takedown case, nine choke tubes, choke tool, and stock adjustment tools. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 3/8 inches.
Excellent. 99% original blue finish remains on the barrels with some light asembly marks. The wood is also excellent with crisp checkering, some barely visible scattered dings, and added grip cap. Mechanically excellent. Extra barrel is excellent with handling marks. Box is fair with corner and edge wear throughout. Case is excellent with a few small scuffs.
