Description:
Reduced Price; Winchester 1885 hi wall action, single set trigger. This action is in great mechanical condition, the blue on the action is 95-97%. The falling block is nickel plated and no flaking or rust. There is no piting from rust anywhere on the action. The finger lever looks to have been repaired, maybe re-welded and has been filed butnot polished or blued. The lower tang may have been repaired too and may need some filing and re-blue. Overall it is in very good condition. This action has the single set trigger. There is no main spring as that requires a forearm to be installed. Parts are readily available from aftermarket replica/reproduction manufacturers. This would be a great start for a black powder cartridge rifle or single shot target rifle.
