That’s when Samuel Colt began production of a revolving-cylinder pistol at his Paterson, New Jersey, factory. The 1847 Walker revolver was enthusiastically received by the Rangers of the newly independent Republic of Texas. The reputation earned by the formidable 1847 Walker revolver is what ensured gunmaker Samuel Colt’s success. This replica of this famous revolver is produced by Uberti in Italy. It is a single-action .44 caliber cap & ball revolver featuring a 9 inch barrel with a case-hardened frame, brass trigger guard and steel backstrap. This revolver is as new in its original box and the only wear is a drag line on the cylinder.
