We have an all-matching "ac41" code Walther P-38 that was captured by the Russians during WW2, dipped and put into long-term storage somewhere in Russia. This gun was sold off as surplus after the collapse of the U.S.S.R. and imported into the States by "R GUNS". Somewhere along the line the original wartime factory grips were replaced with a set of post-war P-38 grips. All of the controls function as they should. The bore is frosty but, shows good rifling. This P-38 was manufactured in approx November of 1941 and most certainly saw service on the Eastern front. Pretty cool to think this pistol might of been captured at Stalingrad or Kursk!
