Description:
Hawken style percussion rifle. 50 caliber, rifling twist is 1" in 36" same as the original. G.R. Douglas barrel is 1-1\8" by 36". Total weight of 14 pounds. Browned metal, maple stock with German silver nose cap. Poplar ramrod with brass head threaded for cleaning accesories. Correct adjustable rear sight, trigger guard, buttplate and features accurate to the period. Double set triggers, mint bore, lightly used. One of the best Hawken style rifles built. Overall excellent condition.
