Scarce 11mm Guedes caliber rifle. The model 1885 Portuguese Infantry rifle in 8mm, while infrequently encountered, is the most common Guedes rifle. The original Guedes rifles, pre-1885, were 11mm as this one is. Rifle is in excellent refinished condition. It has approximately 98% blue and a very nice stock with no chips or cracks. The bore is excellent, unusual for a black powder infantry rifle. 31” Barrel with bayonet lugs at the muzzle. Here’s your chance to get a scarce Guedes rifle at a reasonable price.
