Heres a very nice Winchester 1892 in 38-40 caliber. Serial number 483513. Full octagon barrel . 100 percent original and untouched. Nice smooth even gun with traces of original finish in protected areas. Markings and corners are sharp . Wood is very good and untouched original condition . Forend wood has a crack in the wood on bottom see photo. Wood to metal fit excellent. Gun comes with original sights . Front sight is a Winchester Express sight and rear sight is a Buckhorn adjustable sight. Very small Model 1892 markings on upper tang . Rare marking the Winchester used for a short period of time ! See photo . Bore is Excellent and mechanics are also excellent . Gun locks up tight and bore is very nice ! Nice honest Winchester 1892 in 38-40 caliber.
