Description:
Very Lovely H. Pieper 12 Ga. Hammer Double. Do not know the model but the flats on the receiver and the barrels have a 571 & 756 stamped on both. Not to be ignorant but do not know if they are model numbers or choke designation. 30" barrels are choked Full & Full. Receiver is engraved as well as the Hammers. Good amount of Case Colors on the Receiver. The barrels are marked Laminated Steel and Belgium on the Rib and Belgium with a Belgium proof on the bottom of the buttstock. Very Strong and Lovely Damascus patterns on the barrels. Bores are Excellent. Believe this is a graded gun because of the engraving compared to others I have seen on thethat have no engraving. Wood has very nice figure on the Buttstock and the Checkering is Very Sharp. There are a few minor handling marks on the Buttstock (Pictured). The left barrel has some minor scratches above the forearm (not sure they will show up in the photos). Don't believe this gun was used very much because of the High Condition. For an antique, this is a fairly strong gun in all aspects. Most wear on the trigger guard and lower tang, also pictured. Widow Peaked Buttplate is Perfect with H.Pieper over Liege marked inside a circle bordered by a Diamond. Thanks for Looking.
