Built in 1954 on the five screw N-frame this Pre Model 23 aka 38/44 Outdoorsman is equipped with a 6 1/2” barrel, original satin blue finish with checkered walnut diamond magna grips. An outstanding example of the model that comes in the equally crisp gold picture box with the Helpful Hints brochure and tissue wrap. The gun retains 99% of the original special ordered bright blue finish and shows only the faintest of collector type handling evidence. A high condition N-frame for any S&W collector!
