Winchester Model 71 Deluxe serial number 227XX placing date of manufacture in 1945-46. Overall condition is excellent with 95+% original untouched factory blue. This would be a 98% gun, however there is a small rub mark on the barrel and small scratches. The bore is perfect. The bore will rate a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. Wood to metal fit is perfect 98% factory varnish remains, no damage anywhere.
