Well I'm still dragging them out, here's a old gal for sure, my 1876 Winchester in the first caliber offered the 45/75, sent a 350 grain bullet at twice the foot pounds of energy as the little brother 44/40. A enlarged twin to the 1873, the Centenial Rifle. This one is the 28" round barreled Sporting rifle. The third model, serial number 47486, weighted in at 9.5 lb's and held 12 cartridges. I will include a set of RCBS dies along with the purchase. I also have I think 3 boxes of Ammo that shipment and purchase could be arranged. Rifle is as it appears , pretty much original, rifle ladder sight , no cleaning kit , sorry. Functions fine, I've not shot it recently but has a nice shiney bore with good rifling. Wood looks as if it was never sanded. They only made these until 1897 a total of 63,871 so basically everyone's an antique. Largest rifle Winchester ever built. These were maybe used thinning the Buffalo herds . I acquired this Rifle in S. Dakota so who knows where she all traveled. I took a good many pictures outside to show everything about her.
