Description:
A “Swamp Angel” pistol made by Forehand and Wadsworth. It is a spur trigger revolver with a nickle finish and, what appear to be, rosewood grips. It has a 5 shot, non fluted, cylinder. The name “Swamp Angel”, stamped on the top strap, came from a, mid-century, New York street gang or a Civil War Coast Artillery piece of the same names. No one knows, for sure. It is stamped “FOREHAND & WASWORTH // WORCHESTER.MASS” on the left side of the barrel. The serial number is stamped on the butt strap, “9336”.
Caliber: .41 rimfire cartridge.
Overall Length: 4.50   Barrel Length: 1.60

Condition: Retains a large percentage of its original nickle finish – Barrel markings are weak – Hammer and Trigger show considerable amounts of case hardening – Grips are very good with only minor marks – Action is crisp – Bore is good with strong rifling
