Serial number 293, .58 caliber, 7 in Barrel w/ flared muzzle. Exact Replica all steel & silver construction.
Cased reproduction of the "Pitcairn Pistol", the gun that is attributed of firing the "shot that was heard around the world". All steel and silver Scottish Murdock ram's horn butt Flintlock pistol exact copy from the one used by British Major Pitcairn whom historians believe fired the first shot of the American Revolutionary War at Lexington. Highly detailed and engraved. Took 3 months for craftsman working by hand to build each exact copy. Limited edition of 900 were made for the Whitney Amory Museum and the US Historical Society.
In excellent condition, with mahogany case, and certificate / information insert.
