EXCELLENT CIVIL WAR MANHATTAN .36 CAL. SERIES 4 PERCUSSION NAVY REVOLVER CA. 1864-5. 5 shot with 5” octagon barrel with scarce patent date two line “MANHATTAN FIRE ARMS CO. NEWARK, N.J./PATENTED MARCH 8, 1864” address. All original and matching. 70% plus blue on the barrel and slightly less on the cylinder. 50-60% grey and blue case colors on the frame, hammer and lever. Excellent markings and perfect roll die engraved “NAVAL AND MILITARY” engagement scenes on cylinder. Rear of cylinder stamped “PATENTED DEC. 27, 1859”. Mellow brass back strap and trigger guard. Excellent walnut grips with most of the original piano finish. Extra nice bore and in perfect working order.
