S. NORTH U.S. MODEL 1819 FLINTLOCK PISTOL. .54 caliber smoothbore 10” barrel. Lock dated 1821. Lock plate stamped “EAGLE/U.S./S. NORTH/MIDLTN. CONN” and barrel proofed at the breech “DJ/P/US”. Left side of stock with excellent “LS” script cartouche. All original with the top jaw and screw old replacements. Original flintlock and not a reconversion. Very fine condition with crisp metal and extra nice stock with the original original finish. Lock in working order and excellent to near mint bore. Superior example and scarce in original flint.
