Savage model 99f featherweight in 300 Savage..Built in 1956,this rifle is in excellent all original condition.The 99f was built as a lightweight rifle but still retains some of the classic 99 features.This rifle has the cartridge counter,lever safety,steel buttplate,and hand checkered wood.The barrel is a light coutour 22" barrel with a mint bore.The rifle is factory drilled and tapped for a scope.This one has a Redfield 3x9 installed.The rear sight has been removed and a blank installed to accomodate the scope.The rifle retains 95% of the original blue and wood finish.The lever retains over 50% of the original case colors.This is a great classic rifle ready for the deer woods.C&R eliglble.
