This is I THINK A SWEDISH MAUSER it cocks on closing removing the front scope base reveals that any Identification was remover before bluing The barell is a varmint barrel with a length of 26" , and chambered for the 250 Savage. The rifle is stocked in a very nice piece of OREGON MYRTLE WOOD, with a lenght of pull at 13 1/2" to a Neidener steel but plate. sadly it was not completed before Mr. Lauer passed away. I need to install a grip cap, but due to my own health problems it will NOT BE CHECKERED. The only markings on the receiver is H4515 I will use that as the serial number.
