This is a ONE-OF Merkel and remains New in Box: Merkel K3 in 30-06 and was a special custom shop creation to highlight Merkel at the 2007 IWA Germany Gun Show. The famous Burkhardt Hafner did the engraving work on the gun and as you look at the photos you will see the detail is endless from stem to stern. It would be such a fun gun to hunt. It weighs a delightful 6.3 lbs and comes up quickly. It features octagon barrel, prominent open sights and also has a Merkel Quick Deatch Throw lever Scope mount included (pictured). This is truly a one of a kind gun and has been stored properly ever since. It would come in its original box, wrapper etc with all orig manual and paperwork from merkel. There will never be another like it. Another outstanding piece from The Greene Collection.
